Customised gift bags for bottles

So you want to give a bottle of something as a gift? Brand the bottle bag, customise the cooler bag or event create a branded picnic bag with picnic rug and supply a bespoke champagne bag? Great idea! Before you create the bespoke bag, you’ll need to decide what booze you’re going to give as the gift first.

It might seem like the last thing to worry about when you’re creating something like this from scratch, but actually all wine bottle gift bags or champagne bottle bags are different sizes. I know! Stop the press! Did you notice that before? If you don’t know that much about booze (apart from the nice looking label or experience of tasting it) then you need to learn about the size of the bottles so you can choose the right dimensions for making your bespoke wine bottle bag.

Champagne and other sparkling wines have thick walls and wide with a pronounced punt and sloping shoulders.

Chianti and some other Italian wines use a round-bottomed flask, Burgundies and Rhone varieties use tall bottles with sloping shoulders and a smaller punt. north and south American, south African and Australasian wine producers select the bottle shape they want to associate with their wines.

You might also want to consider keeping your wine cool, and we can offer a range of Thermal Fabrics.

There’s much more to this and this is not a wine lesson, this is advice before you start making that bottle that’s going to woo your clients and please your boss, make sure it’s for his favourite wine (not yours!) and what size bottle it comes in.
